Tijara Pages is the Online Muslim Business Directory for the United Kingdom. You can search for Muslim Businesses by Name, Category and/or Location.

Company Search by Name or Location

Tijara Pages contains over 5,000 Muslim businesses and organisations that provide services and products to the Muslim Community in the UK. When searching for companies you don't have to fill in all of the boxes but the more you fill in, the more accurate and concise your search results will be.

• 'Search by Category' – enter the type of business or organisation you are looking for, e.g. Charity Organisations
• 'Search by Name' – enter the name of the business or organisation you are looking for, e.g. Orphan Aid
• 'UK Location' – enter the location of the business, e.g. Nottingham, Nottinghamshire, East Midlands or England

You must enter at least the 'Category' or 'Name' box. Leaving the 'Location' box blank will perform a UK-wide search.

Related Categories

There are 351 business categories in the Tijara Pages database and the most appropriate one is used for each listing. You can extend your search from the results screen by clicking on the ‘Related Classifications’ listbox that appears to the left of the results screen. For example, lets say you have done a search for ‘Web Designers’ in Nottingham. The ‘Related Classifications’ list box will display classifications such as ‘Web Hosting’, ‘Web Marketing’, ‘Software Consultants’, etc.

Wider Regions

Locations are structured in Tijara Pages in the following way: United Kingdom; then Country; then Region; then County; and finally Town/City. Once you have performed a search and are in the results screen, you can move within Tijara Pages’s geographic structure by simply clicking on the appropriate link that appears within the ‘Wider Regions’ list box to the left of the results listing.

For example, say you search for ‘Web Designers’ in ‘Nottingham’. The ‘Wider Regions’ list box to the left of your results screen displays ‘Nottingham’, ‘Nottinghamshire’, ‘East Midlands’, ‘England’ and ‘United Kingdom’. Clicking on ‘Nottinghamshire’ will perform a search for ‘Web Designers’ in ‘Nottinghamshire’, clicking on ‘East Midlands’ will perform a search for ‘Web Designers’ in ‘East Midlands’, etc.

Nearby Locations

This feature allows you to navigate through to other locations within the geographic structure that you are currently in. For example, say you do a search for ‘Web Design’ in ‘Nottinghamshire’. The Nearby Locations list box (located directly below the ‘Wider Regions’ list box to the left of the results listing) will become headed ‘Other Towns in Nottinghamshire’, and it will list all towns within the county of Nottinghamshire.

Understanding the Search Results

Tijara Pages displays results in alphabetical order. If there are any premium advertisers who serve your area in the classification you have searched for (they may or may not be physically based in your chosen area), they will be presented first. All remaining results will be specific to the location searched.

Additional information for each result is presented on a separate page, which is accessed by clicking on the business’s ‘More Information’ link.
